Gran Duque
de Alba XO
Tasting notes
Sight. A noble-colored brandy, between antique mahogany and ebony. Very bright.
Smell. Of an intense nose with notes of raisins, grapes, plum and vanilla. It also tinges of antique furniture varnish, ensuing, without a doubt, from its long ageing.
Taste. Complex and majestic in the mouth, but creamy and velvety at the same time. An intense, persistent and very long finish.
Consumption Preference:
Consume just to enjoy all its organoleptic characteristics, with ice, or as an excellent ingredient in cocktails and long drinks.
Pairing:
A perfect choice to go along with dessert, or dark chocolate.
Category: Solera Gran Reserva
ABV: 40%
Aging time: 18 years in American oak barrels that have contained Don Guido, a recognized Pedro Ximénez with a certified age of 20 years by the Sherry Regulatory Council.
Elaboration:
This brandy’s extraordinary characteristics are the result of its key ingredient: a combination of Gran Duque de Alba and Gran Duque de Alba Oro brandies. Excellence upon excellence. A very old brandy with a set of complex nuances that only time can provide.
